We started out our summer fun by going to Pony Express Days out by Robyn's house. They had a cute little carnival set up with some fun rides for the girls to go on. They had a blast hanging out with Annabelle!
Daisy even got to ride most of the Little rides. Paige went on the super big slide and caught some air on the way down, which freaked her out for a minute! ;-)
I love this face!
This ride she went on solo!
This was Daisy's first try eating a sno-cone. She LOVED it!!!
Paige and Annabelle driving their motorcycle! Crazy girls!
Our next fun outing was a trip to This is The Place Park. Robyn had never been before, which is crazy I thought! I love this park! But I love anything about pioneer stuff so I've been up lots of times. It was really fun! We ended up staying almost 5 hours and had plenty to do.
Today was Daisy's first day with 2 ponytails, isn't she a cutie!!!
Here they are ready for the first train ride!
Here they are doing laundry!! They both had a blast doing this, I have a feeling it wouldn't be as fun if they actually had to help do it this way every day!!
Next they got to help water the garden.
They had fun games for the kids on the side of the house and they would race to see who could get their doll to the top the fastest. Paige thought this was a cool game and said we should put one on our house.
Paige helped this lady spread her bunch of wool into her spool so they could send it through a spinning wheel and make thread.
Next was art time! They got to color with chalk on colored paper because the pioneer who lived in this house was artist.
We stopped for lunch at the old hotel and had sandwiches, hot dogs, pulled pork and hamburgers. They were all very yummy! Next we went to the candy store and filled our bags with old fashioned goodies.
Next was the petting area. This goat and Paige got to be pretty good friends and he didn't want her leave so he grabbed her hand and wouldn't let go! Funny!!!
They also got to ride the horses and Daisy had a pretty fun time doing that. The whole time she was on her pony she kept saying "princess!" I think it's because Paige has princess ponies at home that all of her princess barbies are always riding. She must have thought she was a princess for a few minutes! It was cute!
They also got to feed the baby lambs. What I didn't get a picture of was right after Daisy was trying to feed this little thing, Paige was trying to get the bottle to have another turn, Daisy kept backing up from Paige and the goat and fell into the lambs bucket of water and got soaking wet! She was a good sport though, she didn't even cry, she just climbed out and came over to me.
After this we went up to the top of the park and panned for gold. Paige found some and was supposed to take it to the saddlery shop for a prize, but they were closed. We waited around to see if they'd be back, but we got tired of waiting and decided to take our gold home. It was a fun day! And luckily not to hot.
