Dolls!

So I've been trying to get Paige to play with dolls for 4 years! She has never really shown much interest. It's usually horses or dogs...stuffed animals really. Well yesterday I decided to get the big (life like size) dolls out and give it another try with some extra "fun things".  I went out into the garage and got into the baby clothes I've put away, the 0-3 month clothes. I pulled out about 20 items. 2 of each so Paige and Daisy could each have one for their babies...Pj's, onesies, dresses, hats, jackets, pants.  When Paige got home I showed her all the clothes that they could use to change their babies. They had birp clothes and each a bottle, each a high chair, they had to feed them, etc. We cleaned up their hair and washed their faces too! So Paige got pretty excited and started changing clothes right away!  Her and Daisy got into their dress ups and put their babies in dresses and set up a tea party for them. They went outside and pushed them in the swing, jumped on the tramp, came in and gave them a bottle, changed them into pj's. While we ate dinner the babies sat in their high chairs and then we decided to go for a walk. They each put their baby in Paige's double stroller and we headed out. They had a lot of fun. They played with them until they went to bed, putting their babies to bed too. I was hoping it would continue over to today and when I came out of the bathroom thismorning Paige was in the living room with her baby getting her dressed for the day. She decided to take her baby for show and tell today so she had to look pretty. After she got her dressed I found some bows to put in her pony tails like Paige had so they could match! I
hope this si going to work. I would love for her to keep playing with dolls, I think it'll keep her busy and using more of her imagination instead of just running around bouncing on the trampoline and doing monkey bars all night.  I just have to keep asking about the babies and checking up on them and I'm hoping it stays fun! I thought maybe I could rotate out the clothes once a week too, keep it interesting! So far....so good!
